Amity University Lucknow Campus every year organizes a Mega Youth Fest – AMIPHORIA. This year this mega event would be conducted offline within the university premises. After the huge success of Amity Idol Season-I, II, III, and IV Amity Institute of Pharmacy, Lucknow Campus heartily invites you all to be part of our season-V.
Amity idol (Season-V) is just the occasion you’ve been waiting for! This event is a call for all the singers in the country to showcase their singing skills and let the world be lost in their melodies. Very exciting prizes are on the way. So just get your mic on and be ready to showcase your talent.

Event Guidelines
Preliminary
To give the participants a fair judgment, they are first shortlisted based on their performance in the preliminary round. The preliminary round (round one) will be based on selection of best voices through the recorded mailed (without any background music) by the participants.
Semi-final
The competition picks up speed as among the large pool of talent, the judges make the toughest decision of selecting only a handful of contestants, to proceed to the semifinal round (round two) based on received recorded voices with karaoke (-1) tracks of songs based on a specific theme.
Final
Eight melodious voices will be finally selected for Grand Finale (round three). The Judging Criteria will be Vocal Technique and Performance.
Round Based Guidelines
Preliminary Round
- Each participant will record a video of ‘Mukhda & One Antara’ of a filmy or non-filmy Hindi solo song (only voice recording) and share the same on email.
- Duration: Maximum 3 min
- Live instruments, duet songs or karaoke not allowed.
- A panel of 2 judges will individually judge and shortlist the best singers for the semi-final round.
Semi-final
- Each participant will send one complete ‘Mukhda & One Antara’ filmy or non-filmy Hindi solo song on minus one track on a specific theme and share the same on email.
- Duration: Maximum 3 min
- Live instruments, duet songs or karaoke not allowed.
- A panel of 2 judges will judge and select 8 singers for the final round.
Final Round
- Each participant will sing one complete filmy or non-filmy Hindi solo song on minus one track on stage.
- Duration: Maximum 5 min
- Live instruments, duet songs or karaoke not allowed.
- A panel of 2 judges will judge and select the 3 best singers.
- Venue: Auditorium, AUUP, Lucknow Campus
- Pre-recorded finale will be streamed as a central event of Amiphoria.
Duration of finale: 90 min
JUDGEMENT CRITERIA
- Total judgment marks=50 marks
- Voice/Tonal Quality (Sur and Tal) = 20 marks
- Rhythm sense=10 marks
- Song Selection=10 marks
- Enunciation=10 marks
