About the Event

This event invites participants to portray life at Amity University through Instagram reels and short videos. Capture scenes from various aspects of university life, showcasing everyday moments, collaborative projects, and the overall culture. It’s not just about capturing visuals; it’s an opportunity to share the student perspective and depict the essence of daily life, research, and moments of joy at the institution. Participants can submit a short video compilation, Instagram reels or vlogs; that encapsulate the theme of ‘Life at Amity University,’ whether through vlogs, short video compilations, Instagram reels presenting a student’s viewpoint or anything aligning with the event’s theme.

Round Based guidelines

The event consists only of a a single round where the participants would first display their work to the judges then they would be given a chance to elaborate about or explain their perspective about their presentations and based on the presentation, storytelling, and relevance to the theme.

Rules & Regulation

    • Participants are exclusively welcomed to enter the competition through the submission of a video format, whether it be in the form of an Instagram reel, a short video, or a compilation of short clips of your daily life at amity.
    • Any filming equipment can be used.
    • Basic editing is allowed.
    • No filming equipment will be provided by the institution.
    • Filming must be conducted in a manner that does not disrupt the regular activities of the laboratories or classes.
    • The video duration must not exceed 1 minute and 45 seconds.
    • Visual effects (VFX) are allowed.
    • Participants are encouraged to provide a brief commentary or description as part of their presentation, either preceding or following the submission of their video entry. This offers an opportunity to articulate and explain the creative choices behind their portrayal.
    • Group size is limited to a maximum of 4 participants.
    • Participants must submit raw files of the videos in advance; failure to do so will result in disqualification.
    • Participants are allowed to submit up to three entries.
    • Plagiarism is strictly prohibited and will result in disqualification
